Detroit Lions Depth Chart 2025-26

The 2025 season of the Detroit Lions will test the mental fortitude and resilience of the team, especially head coach Dan Campbell. No team in the league has suffered more on the coaching side than the Lions in the 2025 offseason. Detroit, which produced the first-ever 15-win season in franchise history last year, saw both of its coordinators (offense and defense) take the head coaching opportunity, leaving the Lions with a gaping hole. While both new coordinators will be under immense pressure to maintain Detroit’s current success, it holds especially true for the Lions' new OC, John Morton, who will be replacing one of the brightest offensive minds in the game in Ben Johnson.

What is the Detroit Lions' depth chart for 2025-26?

It doesn’t happen often, but Lions who finished with the best record in the NFC last season have held onto the majority of their core pieces. However, there have been a couple of changes in the secondary department and at the line of scrimmage. First and foremost, they replaced cornerback Carlton Davis with D.J. Reed, who will be lining up on the opposite end of Terrion Arnold.

The biggest setback for Detroit came on the offensive line with the sudden retirement of guard Frank Ragnow. Lions GM Brad Holmes would be hoping that Ragnow’s replacement would come from within. Detroit's front office, which took OL Tate Ratledge in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft, will be responsible for filling in the right guard spot, which was left vacant by the departure of Kevin Zeitler to Nashville in free agency.
