Nico Hulkenberg is a German racing driver currently driving for the Haas F1 Team in Formula One. He was born on August 19, 1987, in Emmerich am Rhein, Germany. Hulkenberg began karting at 10 and rose his way through the motorsport ladder within a short period. In 2002, he was declared the German Junior Karting Champion and became the German Kart Champion the following year. He became the title holder in his debut season in Formula BMW in 2005. Hulkenberg began his Formula One career with Williams in 2010, and he notably took the team's first pole position in five years during the Brazilian Grand Prix. He has driven for Force India, Sauber, Renault, and Aston Martin. Despite being a great driver and delivering excellent performances, Hulkenberg has never finished on the podium in F1. His best results have been fourth place at the Belgian Grand Prix (2012) and the Korean Grand Prix (2013).

In 2023, Hulkenberg returned to full-time racing with Haas after serving as a reserve driver for Aston Martin. During the season, he scored nine points for the team, and as a result, Haas got 12 points in the Constructors' Championship. As of late 2024, Hülkenberg continues racing for Haas and hopes to make good use of his experience to enhance the team's performance. In addition to his F1 career, Hülkenberg enjoyed much success in endurance racing, winning the exclusive 24 Hours of Le Mans with Porsche in 2015.
