RAW Results: Suspended superstar reinstated; Orton forms unlikely partnership

RAW kicked off with a recap of Drew McIntyre's match with Mace and T-Bar. They also showed how Braun Strowman saved the Scotsman and how their tag team bout with the former RETRIBUTION members unfolded.

We headed backstage where Braun Strowman and Drew were arguing. Both men were set for a rematch from last week's show. However, Braun said he was heading out for a handicap match with T-Bar and Mace.

Braun said that he wanted to do what Drew could not and headed out to face the duo alone.

Braun Strowman vs. Mace and T-Bar on RAW

Strowman kicked things off with T-Bar in the ring and tossed him around before sending the latter into the corner and knocking Mace off the apron with an elbow. Mace tagged in and managed to send Braun into the corner where the duo unloaded on the former Universal Champion.

T-Bar tagged back in and they were still kicking Braun down in the corner and the referee had to disqualify them for not letting Strowman recover on the ropes. The match was called, but Mace & T-Bar were still going at him.

Result: Braun Strowman def. Mace and T-Bar via DQ

Drew McIntyre rushed to the ring and wiped out Mace and T-Bar before helping Braun recover in the ring.

Drew Mcintyre and Braun Strowman vs. Mace and T-Bar on RAW

After the commercial break, we returned to RAW to see that a tag team match was made official and Drew McIntyre was in the ring with T-Bar. He hit an early Glasgow Kiss and then the Future Shock DDT while Braun wiped Mace out on the outside.

Drew went for a clothesline at ringside but managed to take Braun out, who was running around the ring like a freight train. Drew was confused and the referee started counting. T-Bar beat the count while McIntyre missed it.

Result: Mace and T-Bar def. Drew Mcintyre and Braun Strowman via count-out

Braun was mad and hit Drew with a Running powerslam before leaving him in the ring.

Grade: B+

Miz TV on RAW

Miz and Morrison were back on RAW with Miz TV and Elias and Jaxson Ryker were the guests. Elias called Shane McMahon his 'muse' and they started singing an unplugged version of 'Hey Hey, Hop Hop'.

Damian Priest came out and interrupted the song and said that he had a surprise of his own before calling out The New Day. Woods was carrying a guitar case with him and it turned out to be full of tomatoes that they started throwing at Miz & company.

The New Day and Damian Priest vs. Jaxson Ryker, Elias and The Miz on RAW

We were in a tag team match when we returned from the commercial with Ryker, Elias & Miz on one side and The New Day and Damian on the other.

Elias was in the ring with Woods and tags were made before The Miz took a double team from The New Day.

Priest tagged in and The Miz retreated before bringing in Ryker. Priest took out all three opponents with a huge sequence before The Miz came back in and took an SOS from Kofi.

Woods tagged in and went for a dive, but Elias caught him on the jaw with a Sympho-Knee on RAW. Woods was saved by Priest. An inside cradle from Woods saw him roll up Ryker for the win.

Result: The New Day and Damian Priest def. Jaxson Ryker, Elias and The Miz

Charlotte Flair gets reinstated on RAW

Before heading for a commercial break, we saw Sonya Deville letting Charlotte come inside the building. She was suspended indefinitely and was fined $100,000 for attacking the official in her match last week

Charlotte made a public apology and apologized to the referee she attacked last week. Sonya Deville reinstated her on RAW. Charlotte then proceeded to make the ref apologize to The Queen as well.

Sonya set up a match for Charlotte later in the night and the same official will oversee the match.

Backstage on RAW, Adam Pearce was not happy with Sonya's decision to reinstate Charlotte without his permission.

Drew McIntyre asked Adam Pearce for a match with Braun earlier on in the night. Strowman later caught up with Pearce and said that he should be in a title match with Lashley instead. The Monster Among Men said if he managed to beat McIntyre tonight he should be added into the WWE Title match at Backlash.

Pearce liked the idea and made it official.

Sheamus' Open Challenge on RAW

Sheamus was out next on RAW and talked trash about Humberto Carrillo before offering a non-title match to anyone. Carrillo came out and Sheamus called him 'loco' before taking a cheap shot at him.

Humberto managed to beat up Sheamus and dump him outside the ring and over the announce table before moving on.

Backstage on RAW, MVP and Bobby Lashley were seen backstage bullying the backstage interviewer.

Bobby Lashley said he will be watching the main event on tonight's RAW

Lashley was out next on RAW and said that he would not be happy if he lost the title at Backlash without being pinned in the triple threat title match.

He promised to 'observe' his potential business interests tonight in the match between Drew and Braun.

Randy Orton and Riddle form unlikely alliance on RAW

Riddle was backstage and said that he was on 'cloud 12' before running into Randy Orton. Randy said that Riddle earned his respect and invited him to a tag team match.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were backstage. Shayna told Nia to avoid getting distracted during their match tonight. Jax was then handed flowers by Garza.

Elsewhere, MVP tried to get Braun to back off from the match tonight but Strowman threatened them instead.

Randy Orton and Riddle vs. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander on RAW

Riddle started the match on RAW with Cedric and Benjamin got an early tag before The Original Bro took some big shots to the knee and went down in the ring.

Cedric was back in and went for Riddle's eyes before hot tagging his partner to keep the former US Champion in their corner.

Riddle made the tag and Orton took control of the match. Benjamin hit Orton with the Dragon Whip but Randy got a power slam in.

Cedric leaped in for a cheap shot but was caught in mid-air with an RKO. Shelton took the elevated DDT and Riddle followed up with the Floating Bro for the win.

Result: Randy Orton and Riddle def. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander

Asuka, Lana & Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, and Shayna Baszler on RAW

Ripley trapped Lana in a submission in the ring early on but the RAW champ's tag team partners were distracted by Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke who threw a bucket of water at Shayna. Nia ran over but slipped and fell before struggling to get to her feet.

A Samoan Drop from Jax took Asuka down on RAW but the former champion was able to avoid a splash in the corner. Naomi tagged in and pelted Nia with running and flying forearms.

Lana tagged Naomi in just before she was planted with the Riptide. Ripley fought off Lana’s offense and hit her finisher on the Ravishing Russian as well. Nia hit the running leg drop on her for the win.

Result: Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, and Shayna Baszler def. Asuka, Lana and Naomi

Sonya Deville told Mandy and Dana off for interfering with the tag team match. She then told Mandy that she had to face Charlotte tonight.

Alexa's Playground on RAW

Alexa Bliss was back and said that we too could have a 'Lily' of her own by looking into her eyes, thinking dark thoughts, and saying Lily's name before she jump-scared us. Alexa declared that it was time Lily played with the rest of WWE and said "Lily made me do it", before laughing like a maniac.

Charlotte vs. Mandy Rose on RAW

Mandy managed to sneak in a cover early on RAW, but Charlotte reversed it easily. Brooke was there on the apron to run a distraction which worked and Mandy took Flair into the corner.

Rose was in control and hit a missile dropkick for a near fall before unloading on her in the corner. Mandy threw Charlotte at the ref but Charlotte caught herself in time.

Charlotte got a near fall and started arguing with the ref before nearly getting rolled up twice. Charlotte managed to hit Natural Selection for the win.

Braun Strowman vs. Drew McIntyre on RAW

Drew was hit with a shoulder tackle before taking Braun down and worked on his legs. McIntyre went to the top rope but was tossed across the ring before Lashley made his entrance.

The WWE champ was there to watch the match from ringside and after a break on RAW, the match continued. Drew went for the Claymore but Strowman caught him with a powerbomb.

Braun got a near fall on RAW before Drew blocked his chops and got the Glasgow Kiss in. Drew McIntyre hit the spinebuster but Strowman still managed to kick out. Braun countered the butterfly DDT before setting Drew up on the top rope before hitting a huge superplex for another near fall!

Braun finally got the chop and a splash in the corner before Lashley interfered on the apron and MVP got Drew out of the power slam. MVP was taken out but then T-Bar and Mace interfered, letting Braun get the running power slam on Drew before picking up the win.

Result: Braun Strowman def. McIntyre. Strowman added to WWE Title match at Backlash.

We got another great episode of RAW with Braun Strowman joining the WWE title picture, Sheamus starting a feud with Humberto, and the debut of the RK-Bros. Charlotte Flair was reinstated and RAW champ Rhea Ripley got a big win with the help of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
