#5 Was Jeff Hardy trying to get fired from WWE?

Ever since Jeff Hardy's departure from WWE, some theories have accused him of purposely getting himself released.

However, that is not the case as per sources close to the man himself:

"It seems silly to address this at all, but according to those close with him I spoke to -- Jeff Hardy wasn't trying to get fired from WWE. He wasn't "working to get out of his deal." The exact phrase I was given was that it was an 'absurd take,'" wrote Sapp.

As per Fightful Select, people close to Jeff Hardy have rubbished these claims and said that this is an 'absurd take'. Hardy signed a contract with WWE in 2020 which was set to run until September 2022. It is unlikely that a man of Jeff Hardy's stature would do any such thing intentionally.

There have been lots of reports suggesting that Jeff Hardy was offered help by WWE, which he refused. It is also said that The Charismatic Enigma knew that he would be released if he didn't adhere to WWE's request of going to rehab.

#4 Johnny Gargano likely to return to WWE

Former WWE NXT Champion Johnny Gargano bid the WWE fans adieu as he has refrained from re-signing with the company.

However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has said that the NXT icon is on a sabbatical till his wife gives birth and is likely to return:

"The impression within WWE is that Gargano and O'Reilly are simply 'taking time off' and not leaving the company. They're expected to return to NXT soon."

While the company also expects Kyle O'Reilly to return as well, there is a higher chance that he will sign with AEW given the fact that Adam Cole and Bobby Fish are already there.

Johnny Gargano has become the heart and soul of NXT over the years and despite the revamp, it is believed that Gargano and Tommasso Ciampa will remain with the brand.

#3 Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy comments on a possible in-ring return

Jeff Hardy made his first appearance since being released by WWE this month on Matt Hardy's Twitch stream. Hardy said he would be open to having an Ultimate Deletion match down the road:

"Jeff Hardy said on Matt’s twitch stream that he would love to do an Ultimate Deletion tag match with Matt Hardy one day," wrote a viewer.

Jeff Hardy was let go by WWE after he refused to go to rehab. However, Matt Hardy had stated that Jeff is in good spirits and in good health.

#2 Details on the turmoil within the McMahon family in WWE

Former WWE referee Mike Chioda has stated that there is a rift within the McMahon family. He said the problems arose when Triple H started dating Stephanie McMahon as Shane did not support it.

He further stated that the heat with Triple H was the reason Shane McMahon was exiled from WWE for over 10 years:

"I think Shane really had a big part of that and that’s why Shane and Triple H had a falling out for many years, and that’s why Shane was exiled for 10 years," said Chioda

He further discussed the current status of the McMahon family, saying that it is still torn apart:

''All the money in the world probably can’t fix it. They have all the money in the world, a publicly traded company, which is ok. The family is torn apart at this point I think. Maybe not torn apart all the way, which I hope not, but it’s torn apart.” said Chioda

#1 Former WWE Superstar says The Miz deserves to be in the Hall of Fame

Former WWE superstar Matt Cardona, also known as Zack Ryder, believes The Miz deserves to be a part of the WWE Hall of Fame. When a picture was tweeted by WWE showing The Miz as the first inductee into the Hall of Fame class of 2022, Cardona commented on it saying 'you deserve it'.

This is part of the current angle on RAW involving Edge and The Miz. The rivalry between the two men will come to a head at the upcoming Day 1 pay-per-view. Cardona is currently not only part of the Impact Wrestling roster but also the NWA as well.
