What’s the story?WWE has promoted several WWE Hall of Famers and alumni for the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw, but the founding member of the nWo won’t be able to make it.Kevin Nash informed fans via Twitter that he won’t be making it to the show due to issues with travelling. Was so looking forward to being a part of RAW 25. It's nearly impossible to travel on our down sized airlines healthy. With a total knee replacement it would be self inflicted torture. See ya everyone at Mania— Kevin Nash (@RealKevinNash) January 18, 2018In case you didn’t know...Nash rose to fame during his time in the WWF as “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel during the New Generation Era. Nash would win the WWF Tag Team Championships, the Intercontinental Championship, and the WWF Championship before leaving the company in 1996.The heart of the matterNash has been wrestling for more than 20 years and has amassed several injuries during his career. His latest surgery was a knee replacement that Nash said was bothering him for the last 20 years. Not to pretty, but its straight. Let it heal and start training. Amazing process. Sore as fu*k but finally fixed after 33 years A post shared by Kevin Nash (@nash5959) on Dec 7, 2017 at 2:49pm PSTNash’s absence will be notable due to his vital role in the early days of Monday Night Raw and the WWF during the mid-90s.The WWE Hall of Famer joined the WWF in 1993 and made his in-ring debut on the program during a 20-man battle royal involving Razor Ramon, “The Model” Rick Martel, Jimmy Snuka, Macho Man Randy Savage, and several others.Nash left the WWF with Scott Hall and would not return to the company until 2002. Then, he made his appearance alongside Scott Hall and Hollywood Hulk Hogan as the nWo.What’s next?Despite Nash not appearing, WWE still has plenty of big names booked for the anniversary next week including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Eric Bischoff, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, and many more.Author’s takeSad to hear that Nash won’t make it. Hopefully, WWE can at least get a satellite or pre-recorded appearance from him before the show next week.Send us news tips at fightclub@sportskeeda.com
