Matrick Mondre Belton is an American Professional Wrestler and Football Player, who signed with WWE under the ring name Trick Williams in 2024. He wrestles in the NXT brand and is the former one-time NXT North American Champion. Before he made his professional wrestling debut, he pursued a career in football. In February 2021, Belton signed a developmental contract with WWE and was assigned to wrestle under the NXT brand under the name Trick Williams as a bodyguard of Carmelo Hayes. They then formed a team named “Trick Melo Gang” and made his in-ring debut against the Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match for the NXT Tag Team Championship and lost in his first match.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, he escorted Hayes to the ring, but Williams and Hayes parted ways to pursue their accomplishments. Williams then participated and won the #1 Contender’s match for the NXT North American Championship, and eventually won the NXT North American Championship. However, he lost the championship on the third day. By 2024, he became a singles superstar and defeated his mentor Carmelo Hayes. He also won the NXT Championship after defeating Ilja Dragunov.

Trick Williams is 30 years old as of January 2025. He was born on May 26, 1994, in Columbia, South Carolina, United States. He played college football for Hampton Pirates when he was 19. He transferred to the South Carolina Gamecocks and played there for the next two years. He acted as an assistant coach and student teacher intern at Airport High School in West Columbia at the age of 23.

Belton got signed to WWE in February 2021 at the age of 26. He was then assigned to wrestle under the NXT roster. He made his professional wrestling debut on September 14, 2021, under the ring name Trick Williams as a personal bodyguard of Carmelo Hayes. They formed a team called Trick Melo Gang and made his in-ring debut teaming with Hayes and entered the fatal four-way elimination tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship. However, they were defeated by MSK.

Throughout 2022, Trick accompanied Hayes to the ring and wrestled the majority of the matches in the house shows. Trick started assisting Hayes during his match to make him retain the NXT North American and NXT championships. They finally split their paths in October 2023 to pursue their own personal career and goals. In 2024, Williams won the NXT Championship for the first time in his career.
