5 times giants heinously attacked the little guy in WWE

WWE has many moments in which giants attacked smaller WWE Superstars. Sometimes, giant wrestlers attack the smaller guys to send out a message to rivals. At other times, they do it for their own amusement. Most of the time, the giant is a heel who attacks the smaller wrestler, a babyface.

Here are five times where giants would attack smaller wrestlers in the WWE.

#5 King Kong Bundy attacked Little People at WWE WrestleMania 3

At WrestleMania III, WWE legend King Kong Bundy feuded in a mixed six-person tag team match. Bundy teamed up with junior division wrestlers Lord Littlebrook and Little Tokyo to face WWE Hall of Famer Hillbillly Jim and his junior division team, The Haiti Kid and Little Beaver.

Little Beaver would stand up to Bundy and challenge him during the match. He would continue to confront Bundy as the latter wrestled Hillbilly Jim. The mixed tag team match resulted in Hillbilly Jim's team getting the win due to Bundy's attack on Little Beaver. Bundy's attack on Beaver cost his team the match via disqualification.

Bundy's team lost via disqualification because he broke the number one rule of this match: little people could compete only against the little people and Bundy had to wrestle Jim. After the match, Bundy left his mark on that WrestleMania, giving a hard body slam and a massive elbow drop on Beaver.

#4 Braun Strowman attacked Enzo Amore on WWE RAW

In 2017, Braun Strowman was on the warpath on WWE RAW. Ever since Strowman started out on his own, away from The Wyatt Family, he had been making an impact and beating people up. Strowman squashed local competitors, top stars such as Roman Reigns, and even announcers.

All Strowman wanted to do was destroy everyone in his way and become the WWE Universal Champion.

While awaiting his Universal Championship match at No Mercy 2017, Strowman would maul another man who was chasing gold, Enzo Amore, who got dragged across the ring by Strowman.

Strowman would leave a message for then Universal Champion Brock Lesnar by giving Amore a monstrous running power slam.

#3 Big Show attacked Rey Mysterio at WWE Backlash

After WrestleMania XIX, Big Show was in a program with SmackDown's top underdog, Rey Mysterio. It all started after a tag team match between the two. As Show and A-Train celebrated their victory against Mysterio and Tajiri, Mysterio gained the upper hand by surprising Show with a 619 off-the-ring post.

This led to a humiliated Show who felt anger and fury. Show and Mysterio would have a match with each other later that month at WWE Backlash. With Show defeating Mysterio with a massive chokeslam, the WWE fans believed that Show finally got what he wanted.

Unfortunately for Mysterio, Show was just getting started. As Mysterio was being stretchered out of the ring, Show reemerged and attacked Mysterio. Big Show lifted the stretcher Mysterio was strapped to and swung it across the ring post.

This assault made Rey's head bounce on the ringside, sidelining him for almost a month.

#2 Kane attacked Spike Dudley at WWE Royal Rumble

At the 2004 WWE Royal Rumble, Kane's goal was to win the Royal Rumble and challenge the World Heavyweight Champion at WWE WrestleMania 20. Unfortunately, he had a target on his back.

When the next entrant was coming out, the lights went out, hinting that The Undertaker would make his return. Those turned out to be The Undertaker's mind games, which led to a distracted Kane getting eliminated by Booker T.

As an upset and confused Kane was walking back, the actual rumble entrant, Spike Dudley, made his way to the ramp. Unfortunately for Spike, he had Kane standing in his way. Kane would take his frustrations out on a vulnerable Spike by delivering a boot to the head. Kane then ended his attack by chokeslamming Spike on the stage, leaving him beaten and battered.

#1 The Great Khali attacked Rey Mysterio on WWE SmackDown

When Rey Mysterio returned to WWE after an injury in 2007, his quest was to seek revenge on the man who put him on the sidelines, Chavo Guerrero. It was also to become World Heavyweight Champion once again.

After Mysterio defeated Chavo Guerrero in an 'I Quit!' match and put an end to the feud, World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali entered the ring to annihilate the number one contender.

The Great Khali locked Mysterio in his submission move, the Vice Grip, for a long period of time. Khali was squeezing Mysterio's head so severely that blood was gushing out of Mysterio's mouth.

Khali's abuse of Mysterio led to Batista running towards the ring to attack Khali and make the save. Although Batista came to Mysterio's aid, Khali already did the damage. Batista would hold Mysterio while he received medical attention in the ring.

This attack prompted SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long, to add Batista to Khali's and Mysterio's championship match, making it a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship.
