At WWE Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar destroyed everyone and everything in his path. Poor Austin Theory never stood a chance. Here's to hoping that he is doing fine after that brutal F5 to end the match.

It was a solid but very predictable show. WWE seems to be on cruise control for WrestleMania. The show in Saudi Arabia provided some dominant Chamber winners, the possible final match of a pro wrestling legend and an impressive match by another legend. It doesn’t seem likely that this show will be remembered for years to come, but it did a good job of setting up for WrestleMania Season. And that was its job, right?

As we try to figure out how Madcap Moss is after being dropped on his head, we should try to distract ourselves and present a list of the top five most surprising moments of WWE Elimination Chamber 2022:

#5 - Short match lengths at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

WWE Elimination Chamber was a very quick Premium Live Event on Saturday. The entire show was less than three hours long and very brief for one of their major shows in 2022. The biggest surprise was how short all the matches were in Saudi Arabia. To have all the matches in less than 15 minutes? That is shockingly short.

It's pretty common for Chamber matches to be well over thirty minutes. But on Saturday night, the intervals between each competitor were shortened. The eliminations, especially in the Men’s match, were in quick succession.

It seems WWE just wanted to get the show over with and onto its WrestleMania build as quickly as possible. That didn’t take advantage of the talented competitors in the Chamber matches who didn’t get much time to shine.

#4 Goldberg passed out to a submission hold at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

At WWE Elimination Chamber, Goldberg wrestled yet again in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian fans have certainly always been behind Goldberg in recent years. He had the chance to defeat Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. Could the match live up to the hype after a two-year delay? It depends on what you were looking for in their title match.

It was a brief six minutes that gave a lot that was expected for the WWE Universal Championship match. Goldberg was able to hit a few Spears but was unable to hit his Jackhammer on multiple occasions. And it suddenly ended when Reigns locked in a Guillotine Choke on Goldberg. Goldberg passed out and Roman won by submission. Have we ever seen Goldberg knocked out in a match?

Where does Goldberg go from here after this sudden loss to Reigns? It would seem quite strange not to see him at WrestleMania 38. But it might be time for the 55-year-old Goldberg to wrap up his pro wrestling career. It has certainly been a memorable one to say the least.

#3 Lita impresses at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

Going into Elimination Chamber, the Raw Women’s Championship match certainly had some major question marks. Lita is one of the greatest female wrestlers in WWE history. But she hasn’t wrestled in a singles title match in nearly sixteen years. Could see hold her own against Becky Lynch after that many years? After Saturday night's match at WWE Elimination Chamber, the answer seems to be a very clear and resounding yes.

The match on Saturday night was an exciting back-and-forth affair for its twelve minute run time. Lita looked athletic and had some believable near falls throughout the exciting match time. Her moonsault onto Becky Lynch was one of the very best of her legendary career. Lynch was able to hit the sudden Manhandle Slam for a well-deserved victory.

After WWE Elimination Chamber, the 46-year-old Lita put on the best match of the night against Becky Lynch. Will we see more of Lita in the future? After her amazing work on Saturday night, surely all WWE fans would like to see more of her in the ring in the near future. However, she had a wonderful send-off from the crowd, so maybe this was the end.

#2 Bobby Lashley loses the WWE Championship without being pinned at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

At WWE Elimination Chamber, it seemed quite possible that Bobby Lashley could losing his WWE Championship after the briefest of title reigns. But it was doubtful any fans expected Lashley to lose the WWE Championship without ever being involved in the match itself.

Bobby Lashley was waiting in his Elimination Chamber pod when Seth Rollins tossed Austin Theory into the pod, crashing through the plexiglass directly into Lashley. It didn’t seem like something that would take a wrestler out of a match, but it did on Saturday night. WWE officials took Lashley out of the Elimination Chamber and it was quickly announced that he was out of the match with a concussion protocol. It was a shocking end to his short WWE title reign.

After the match, news reports emerged that Bobby Lashley might be out for months with a shoulder injury. That would explain why he didn’t compete in Saudi Arabia, but makes it all the stranger why they brought him all the way to Jeddah to be taken out with a quick injury angle. Here's hoping Bobby Lashley returns very soon.

#1 Brock Lesnar destroys all his opponents at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

The main event Chamber match seemed to be off to a good start. We had some good in-ring action between Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, Matt Riddle and AJ Styles. It could have been a special Elimination Chamber match between some of the most talented wrestlers in the entire WWE. But then Brock Lesnar entered the match and ended everything in a hurry.

It seemed likely that Brock would win the WWE Championship in Saudi Arabia to set up a huge WrestleMania main event against Roman Reigns. But did Lesnar have to quickly destroy Riddle, Styles and Rollins with the F5? It was a surprising choice that didn't help Raw's roster going forward. At least Austin Theory got in a little offense before his brutal F5 off the top of the pod. Here is hoping he is fine after that nasty fall.

Brock Lesnar has been built up as a huge babyface in recent months. The match with Roman Reigns should be fun. But did WWE do damage to the other talents on Saturday night if Lesnar leaves again after WrestleMania? Time will tell.
