Rebecca Allen is a basketball player who plays for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA. At 6 foot 2 inches tall, Allen was born in Wangaratta, Victoria, Australia on 6 November 1992. Allen graduated from Carey Baptist Grammar School and got a chance to play professionally in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) at a very young age. In her early basketball career, Allen quickly established herself as a dominant force in the Australian leagues. In 2011, she was honoured with the SEABL Youth Player of the Year award. Two years later, in 2013, Allen earned the SEABL Grand Final MVP. In 2014 she became the WNBL Defensive Player of the Year for extraordinary defensive impact.

In 2015, Allen was selected by The New York Liberty team in the WNBA as a free agent where she played six seasons as a backup point guard and defensive anchor. She plays for Phoenix Mercury where she averaged 7.4 points, 1.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game with 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks per game for the 2024 season (as of August 2024).
