The Valorant Haven Agent tier list is a must-know for players. Valorant’s Haven has been in the game since beta and is currently in the competitive map pool. It is one of only two maps in Valorant, the other being Lotus, which features three bomb sites. This makes the map difficult to navigate and gives a few Agents an edge over the others.

S-tier: Best Agent to play on Haven

Omen is, by far, the best Controller on Haven. His cross-map smokes are extremely useful, seeing that rotations on this map are very slow. There are also very useful and easy-to-learn paths for his paranoia that are irreplaceable during executes and retakes. Moreover, multiple boxes and elevated platforms make for some interesting plays with his Shrouded Step.

Jett is still very viable on Haven. She can take control of A Main or C Long all by herself and allow her team to stack other sites. She deserves a spot in the S-tier of the Valorant Haven Agent tier list because of her compatibility with the Operator, which is very effective on this map.

Sova has always been the Initiator of choice on Haven. His Recon Dart and Owl Drone are perfect for early information, which helps the team decide on site hits and rotations. Breach is slowly creeping into the meta due to being the perfect replacement for Sova. His Fault Line and Flashpoint pair very well with other duelists and can take early map control thanks to the narrow entry points in Haven, such as C Long or A Sewers.

Since Haven is a three-site map, Sentinels are dominant. Cypher’s Trapwires and Spycam are invaluable to a team. Previously, Killjoy dominated the Haven meta; however, with the rise of Neon, Cypher has become one of the best counter picks and is an S-tier Agent for the Valorant Haven Agent tier list. He is also a brilliant lurk agent in Valorant.

A-tier: Worthy picks for experienced players

Neon's High Gear, combined with a Relay Bolt and a Fast Lane, can create space for the teammates instantly. On a huge map like Haven, she is also very effective when it comes to rotating from one site to the other. Despite the recent nerfs, she deserves a spot in the A-tier of the Valorant Haven Agent tier list.

Waylay is the newest Valorant Agent. The Duelists is similar to Jett in terms of movement; however, she cannot create her own smokes. Waylay can also use the Operator and Dash into sites, making her an equivalent of Jett and a solid option. However, the skill ceiling for this new Agent may be a bit higher than the poster child of Valorant.

Astra, on the other hand, has not seen high pick-rates on this map. She serves as a very strong Agent in post-plant scenarios and could certainly make things difficult for the opposition. However, due to her high skill ceiling, her pick rate suffers a lot. It's also very important to have great communication in a team while playing Astra; otherwise, she may not flourish with her overall kit. Omen simply trumps her because he's easier to use in general and can take aggressive vertical positions on Haven with his Shrouded Step.

Vyse is the latest Sentinel Agent in Valorant. Her abilities are unique, allowing her to anchor the site by herself. Her Razorvine can slow down enemies and damage them. Her Arc Rose ability constantly finds value in Haven for the team. Overall, she is a brilliant secondary Sentinel pick next to Cypher.

The same can be said for Killjoy, who also enjoys a high pick rate on Haven. She has a strong presence that can span two sites at a time or somewhere in the middle. She has good stopping power and strong surveillance for flanks. Overall, she's a solid Sentinel for the map.

Tejo is a new Initiator who joined the game with Season 2025 in Act 1. He is a master of crowd control, and countering him is difficult. He may not be brilliant at gathering information, as he only has one recon ability, the Drone. However, he is similar to Breach and KAY/O in this regard because he can help break open sites and execute attacks for the Duelists. He makes sure that the site is empty and in the team's favor, making him a worthy pick for A-tier in the Valorant Haven Agent tier list.

B-tier: Better than C-tier on Haven

Clove might not be the first choice for a Controller Agent in Haven but they can be somewhat effective. Their abilities are easy to use, and the regenerating smokes can aid the team for the entirety of a round. The most problematic part of using Clove on Haven is that they have a certain range (much like Brimstone) and can't smoke for teammates in distant places. To resolve this issue and have a proper impact, they will need to play with a second Controller Agent.

Fade can have very specific use cases, for example, in combination with Raze. Otherwise, she gets outshone by Sova in almost every aspect. Her Haunt can be broken with ease, the Prowlers find decent success in terms of range, and the rest of her abilities are also extremely situational due to the map's size. Fade is mainly held back by range.

KAY/O also sits in the B tier in the Valorant Haven tier list. He can be useful at making space and gathering intel. However, he cannot gather as much intel as Sova, nor can he clear space as well as Breach or Tejo. This middle ground puts him in the middle-most tier.

Ad

Raze is one of the highest-picked Duelist Agents in many events. However, Haven is the one map where she doesn't find as much value. This is due to the map's layout, which makes her Blast Pack traversal very awkward. There aren't many spots that Raze can properly Blast Pack onto, and that is especially true after the recent nerfs that slow her speed.

Yoru can also traverse great lengths of the map quickly, making him easily available anywhere. This is especially good on defense. He can also fake attacks quite well. Overall, he works well as a secondary Duelist but is not nearly as efficient as Neon, Waylay, or Jett in terms of site executes.

Among all the Sentinel Agents in Valorant, Sage has suffered a lot when it comes to her pick rate. This is because enemies can just quickly overcome her abilities. Haven is no such exception. The most Sage can do on the map is use her Barrier Orb on the B-Site or use it diagonally to block off C Short (Garage).

Finally, Chamber was recently buffed by Riot Games, and now his Trademark has an infinite range. This brings him up from the C tier to the B tier as he can keep an eye on two sites at once while also utilizing the Operator which is crucial on a map like Haven.

C-tier: You should avoid these on Haven

Reyna is a C-tier Agent in the Valorant Haven Agent tier list (Image via Riot Games)

Reyna’s kit feels very selfish. She is very difficult to incorporate in a team where she brings value. You can try her out if you are an excellent aimer, but there will be better options for your team.

Ad

Iso is the latest Duelist Agent that was released in Valorant. Much like Reyna, Iso's abilities rely heavily on winning duels. Although unlike her, he can contribute a little towards team play. Iso suffers on Haven majorly because of his inability to create space quickly. If Iso doesn't get any kills in a round, he is almost instantly a liability.

Phoenix may prove to be an improvement over Iso and Reyna. However, he still sits in the C-tier because he lacks the movement abilities boasted by Neon, Waylay, Jett, and even Raze. He can break sites open with a ton of support, but lacks the independence that other Duelists enjoy.

Ad

Viper is a very tricky Agent to get value out of in Haven. She cannot be the sole Controller Agent by any means for the team. Her Toxic Screen is most useful for conditioning enemies to reclear angles or look out for lurks. If paired with a second Controller Agent, Viper can act as a pseudo-Sentinel on Haven.

Harbor suffers from the same problem that Viper does. The lack of a proper smoke ability restricts the Agent from being fully effective on Haven. While Harbor's wall can be curved to block off entry points, it is still not enough. Thus, he also has to be paired with another Controller Agent in the team composition to find the impact on Haven. Brimstone, on the other hand just does not have enough range to be useful on a three-site map.

Ad

Skye lost her spot in the Haven meta after she lost her rechargeable flashes. She is still usable, but Breach is much more valuable. Her Flashes are not as efficient as Breach's on the map, nor can she break open sites like Tejo. On the other hand, Gekko can flash and detect enemies, but the flashes don't go too deep. He can stun enemies with the Wingman but it's primarily used for planting Spikes and can be shot easily. Finally, his Mosh Pit just isn't good enough to carry him to upper tiers all by itself.

Ad

The fact that enemies can easily bypass Deadlock's Sonic Sensors by shift-walking renders her pretty much useless as a Sentinel on a map that is heavily run by lurkers and mid-round rotate strategies.
