The Las Vegas Aces vs Seattle Storm regular season rematch took place at the Climate Pledge Arena. Both of these teams are seeking to move up to the top of the standings, but for one ball club, this game was also an opportunity to get some payback.Back on May 25, the Storm dealt the Aces their second loss of the season. The Storm got a huge game from Gabby Williams, who tallied 20 points on 50% shooting from the field. Skylar Diggins added 11 points, four rebounds, and five assists but also committed six turnovers. At the end of the first quarter, Las Vegas was ahead 27-17. Though the Storm was able to limit the Aces' production in the next stanza, they were unable to have an explosive quarter themselves. At halftime, the Aces held a 44-32 lead.It was in the fourth quarter when the Seattle was able to build some serious momentum, holding Las Vegas to just 14 points as they threatened to cut into the deficit. By then, however, the Aces had given themselves enough cushion to withstand the Storm's surge. Thanks to their balanced scoring and perimeter defense, Las Vegas was able to hold on and clinch the five-point victory.
