Jackie Young is a professional WNBA player for the Las Vegas Aces. She was drafted first overall in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces, where she has remained for her whole career in the WNBA as of January 2025. She is a 2-time WNBA Champion (2022 and 2023) and was an integral part of Las Vegas Aces’ roster in their 2022 and 2023 championship run. She also won the WNBA Most Improved Player of the Year in 2022.

Young is a 3-time WNBA All-Star (2022, 2023, and 2024) and was also selected into the All-WNBA 2nd-team (2023). Young has been impressive on the defensive end as well, as she has maintained 1.1 steals per game for her career. Jackie Young averaged 17.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game in the 2023 season.

Jackie Young attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Young played a total of 109 games for the Fighting Irish, averaging 12.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.2 steals, shooting the ball at a solid field goal percentage of 51.2% and 36.4% from three-point range, as per Sports Reference stats.

Young played a total of 3 seasons of college basketball from 2016 to 2019 and declared for the 2019 WNBA Draft. She was a key player in Notre Dame's 2018 NCAA championship. After winning the Indiana Miss Basketball in 2016, Young made the ACC-All Freshman team in 2017.
