The 6-foot-2 forward, Alyssa Thomas also known as “The Engine” plays for the Connecticut Sun in the Eastern Conference. In 2025, she is also a part of Laces BC, a team in the 'Unrivaled' 3x3 basketball league. The 5 time WNBA All-Star forward led the league in total assists in 2023 and set the record for most assists (316) in a single season. She continued to show her dominance with the ball in her hands in the 2024 season, averaging 10.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.9 assists with 1.6 steals per game.

Alyssa Thomas was drafted as the fourth overall pick by the New York Liberty in the 2014 WNBA Draft.
