The US Open is a tennis tournament played on hard courts and is held in Queens, New York. The tournament is played after the three other Slams — the Australian Open, the French Open, the Wimbledon, and is the last Grand Slam of the year. It began in 1881 and was initially named the U.S. National Championship. It is also the only Grand Slam that was not impacted by both world wars or COVID-19.

From August 24, 2025, to September 7, 2025, the US Open will be held at The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, NYC, with qualifying rounds taking place from August 18, 2025.

Is there a refund policy for US Open tickets?

No, the US Open tickets are non-refundable. The US Open website states that even in the event that the US Open session is canceled for any reason, tickets cannot be reimbursed once they have been purchased. Additionally, it specifies that if a US Open session is canceled for any reason, tickets bought for the entire event (such as Arthur Ashe Stadium full series subscription tickets), luxury suite tickets, free tickets, tickets bought at auction, through an exchange, resale, or secondary outlet (including, but not limited to, resale tickets bought through Ticketmaster), or tickets obtained through Ticketmaster Ticket Transfer will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

No refunds will be given if the event is canceled or rescheduled for any reason, according to the website. However, the holder will have the option, within twelve (12) months of the scheduled event date, to attend a rescheduled presentation of the event or exchange the ticket for one that is comparable in price and location to another similar event during the US Open, subject to the terms and conditions of the US Open inclement weather policy.

Event Completion and Cancellation:

According to the US Open Inclement Weather Policy's Cancellation Provisions, management will decide whether an event is finished or canceled.

Refund for Admission Issues:

The only and exclusive remedy if (1) admission is denied or revoked without cause, or (2) the facility's capacity limitations or the event being held without fans result in the cancellation of Holder's ticket(s), is a refund of the remaining face value of this ticket, as determined by Management in its sole discretion (the "Face Value") to the original ticket purchaser whose information is on file with Ticketmaster, USOpen.org, or the facility box office.

Event Performance and Refunds:

An event is considered fully performed once it starts, and no refunds will be issued, subject to the US Open Inclement Weather Policy.

Ejection or Entry Refusal:

If the holder is denied entrance to the facility or is evicted from it, there will be no reimbursement or recourse.

Management's Liability:

In addition, Management's liability for any violation of this ticket's terms shall not be greater than the Face Value.

Limitation of Damages:

Management will never be responsible for any kind of special, consequential, incidental, indirect, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to any sum paid over the face value of this ticket.
