
Spanish professional tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has won the Grand Slam five times. Thanks to his father, he started playing tennis at the age of four. Countryman Juan Carlos Ferrero, who won the Roland Garros title and rose to the top of the world rankings shortly after Alcaraz's birth in 2003, serves as his coach.

In 2023, Alcaraz won his first Wimbledon title by defeating seven-time champion and four-time defending champion Novak Djokovic. The match lasted four hours and forty-two minutes.
