All Pets that give XP in Grow a Garden

Experience Points increase your Pets' age in Grow a Garden. Since their passive abilities become stronger as they get older, XP is super important in this Roblox experience. Moreover, it unlocks additional Pets and egg slots when you submit critters of a specific age at the Pet Eggs Shop. Creatures in this title also get XP when they're fed and their hunger bars are full.

Some critters grant XP to other Pets walking on your plot. Here is the list of all such Pets in Grow a Garden.

List of all Pets that offer XP in Grow a Garden

Currently, six Grow a Garden Pets grant XP to other critters in your plot. However, only two of them are available to obtain as of this writing. While those two are easy to get, there are no methods to get the remaining four.

That said, here are all the Pets that give XP in Grow a Garden and their details:

1) Owl

Owl gives 0.20 XP every second to all active critters in your garden. It is a Mythical rarity Pet and was a reward for completing the Wise Old Owl’s last milestone. If you have Owl, using it will significantly increase other Pets' XP.

The only way of obtaining this Pet currently is by trading with another player.

2) Night Owl

While Night Owl doesn’t directly grant XP, it makes other critters gain it automatically. The active Pets in your garden gain over 0.28 additional XP every second while Night Owl is in use. It is a Mythical creature that can hatch from the Night egg with a 3.53% probability.

The egg was a reward you got for giving Moonlit fruits to the Wise Old Bird during the Blood Moon Event. It was also purchasable during the same event. Currently, there’s no way to obtain the Night egg except by trading with another player.

3) Blood Owl

Like Night Owl, Blood Owl causes all active critters to gain over 0.50 XP every second. It could be acquired during the Blood Moon event from the Blood Moon Shop. You can obtain the Pet by trading with players who have it. You can increase other critters’ XP by placing this Divine rarity Pet in your garden.

4) Cooked Owl

Cooked Owl was a free Pet given by the developer during the Working Bees update. As of now, you can trade it with other players who have this Mythical rarity Pet. All active Pets gain an additional 0.17 XP per second while this critter walks in your garden.

5) Sea Turtle

Sea Turtle is a Rare Grow a Garden Pet that grants XP to other critters. You can obtain it by hatching the Rare Summer egg with a 20% drop rate. One of your random Pets gains around 1,000 bonus experience points every 10 minutes.

You must buy the Rare Summer egg from the Egg Shop to acquire Sea Turtle. There is a 17% chance that the egg will appear in the shop.

6) Capybara

Capybara is one of the best Grow a Garden Pets to use if you want free XP for your other critters. It grants 3.48 XP every second to the creatures within 15.48 studs in your garden. Additionally, the Pets won’t lose hunger while gaining free XP.

You can obtain this Legendary rarity critter by hatching the Paradise egg with a 21% chance. There is a 10% chance that a Paradise egg will appear in the Egg Shop.

7) Iguanodon

Iguanodon is a Dino-type Pet that grants XP. However, its ability is limited to only Dino-type Pets: Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Spinosaurus. It is a Legendary rarity critter which can be obtained from the Primal Egg.

If you have Dino-type critters, use Iguanodon to increase their XP and level them up quickly.

8) Dilophosaurus

Dilophosaurus is a Mythical rarity Pet that can grant XP. Unlike Iguanodon, it can grant XP to any critter. Its passive Frilled Reptile produces a venom that spreads up to a maximum of five critters. The venom either reduces their cooldown period or grants them 370.42 XP. This Pet was available to obtain during the Prehistoric Event by hatching a Primal Egg.

9) Mochi Mouse

Mochi Mouse is a Mythical rarity Pet that debuted in the Cooking event. It's passive grants itself and other critters bonus XP. However, only Food-type critters can receive its XP buff.

Currently, there are seven food-type critters: Lobster Thermidor, French Fry Ferret, Spaghetti Sloth, Pancake Mole, Hotdog Daschund, Sunny-Side Chicken, and Sushi Bear. All of them will gain 1.94 XP every second while this Mochi Mouse is walking in your garden with them.

10) Hotdog Daschund

Hotdog Dashund’s passive doesn’t give XP to Pets but helps them gain more. It drops a puddle of ketchup or mustard within eight to 16 studs, lasting 30 to 45 seconds. Any critter that steps on the mustard puddle gains 20% to 40% more XP. If a Pet steps on the ketchup puddle, their cooldown speed increases by 0.25 to 0.50 seconds.

11) Lemon Lion

Lemon Lion is a Mythical rarity Pet with two passives: Bain-Roar and Citrus Roar. The latter passive makes the critter roar, granting 1500 XP to other critters. It triggers every ten minutes. The Pet’s other passive, Brain-Roar, applies the Brainrot mutation. It increases a fruit’s base selling price by 100 times. This passive activates every five minutes.

12) Cockatrice

Cockatrice is a Divine rarity Pet with two passives: Venom Spit and Silver Screech. Its passive, Venom Spit, grants XP to other critters. Every ten minutes, the critter spits venom at five different Pets, fruits, and eggs. All Pets affected by venom gain 808.40 XP.

The Pet’s other passive, Silver Screech, triggers every 16 minutes. It has a 20% chance to turn nearby fruits into Silver. Additionally, there is a 1% chance that the fruits will receive the Gold mutation instead.
