Travis Kelce proposes to Taylor Swift with a massive diamond-engraved ring 13 days after pop star's record-smashing debut on New Heights podcast

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged. On Tuesday, the couple uploaded a joint post announcing their engagement in a scene straight out of a romance novel.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end bent the knee in the middle of a beautiful garden of flowers. Swift showed off her enormous ring in one of the slides, a vintage 8-carat diamond set in 18-karat yellow gold, valued at $550K, per Brides.

The caption of the post read:

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

Swift debuted on the Kelce brothers' "New Heights" podcast 13 days ago. After dating for around two years, the couple is ready to take things to the next level.

Swift and Kelce are engaged, and fans can’t stop hyping about every detail of their romantic IG post. According to Kelce’s father, Ed, the Kansas City Chiefs star popped the question at his home less than two weeks ago in an intimate setting before dinner.

"He got her out there. They were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘Let’s go out and have a glass of wine’ … They got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful,” Ed told News 5.

Swift’s engagement ring is already the center of attention. Reportedly designed by Florida goldsmith Lubeck, it features an old mine-cut diamond, a yellow gold band and hand engraving.

Experts estimate Kelce’s custom commission could be worth up to $1 million. For the special moment, Swift wore a striped silk Polo Ralph Lauren dress paired with Louis Vuitton sandals and her Cartier Santos Demoiselle watch. At the same time, Kelce coordinated in a navy Polo knit.
