Despite historically playing on run-heavy offensive units with both the Tennessee Titans and the Philadelphia Eagles, A.J. Brown has been one of the best wide receivers in football.
Since entering the league, Brown has had only one season with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards and seven receiving touchdowns. Since joining the Eagles, he has firmly established himself as a key contributor and focal point on offense.
Brown has averaged 87 receptions for 1,344 yards and eight touchdowns over the past three seasons. In fantasy football, that production has translated into PPR (points per reception) finishes of WR6, WR5 and WR20 during that span.

As a result, Brown is once again projected as one of the top wide receivers in fantasy football in 2025. Fantasy Pros currently ranks him as the WR10 and No. 15 overall player in PPR leagues, which likely means Brown will be selected near the second round of drafts this summer.

A.J. Brown 2025 fantasy football outlook after Super Bowl title
Brown is a complete wide receiver who should be one of the first players taken in drafts this year. He has strong hands, is a sharp route runner, can make defenders miss after the catch and excels in contested situations.
Philadelphia will likely remain a run-first team as long as quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Saquon Barkley are leading the offense. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith is also one of the best in the league. Even so, Brown has proven to be a focal point of the Eagles’ attack, and that is unlikely to change in 2025.
Brown may not see the same usage or volume of passing opportunities as some other elite receivers, such as Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb. However, he consistently generates targets and can make explosive plays even with fewer opportunities.
The combination of elite talent and a defined role on one of the NFL’s top offenses makes Brown a safe WR1 in 2025, with a weekly ceiling as the overall WR1 and a weekly floor in the WR2 range.
