At the pinnacle of the NASCAR national series, a few drivers have been able to achieve impressive feats that most drivers aspire to reach. In 1972, the modern era of NASCAR began and the series was officially called the Cup Series. In the first season, Bobby Allison won three consecutive races and proved that regardless of the regulations changes, drivers with innate talent will continue making and shattering records.

Numerous drivers including but not limited to, Kyle Larson, Richard Petty, and Jeff Gordon have won three or more consecutive races, twice, in the same season. There also have been seasons where two drivers have won three consecutive races. Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski both won three consecutive races in the 2018 season.
