The NASCAR organization awards the NASCAR Manufacturers' Championship to the most successful manufacturer over a season, determined by a points system based on race results. Up until 2013, the points of the Manufacturer's leaderboard were calculated by adding the points scored by the team's/manufacturer's highest-finishing driver. According to the earlier system, the winning manufacturer of the season received nine points, the second-highest finishing manufacturer received six points, the third-highest manufacturer received four points, and the fourth-highest finishing manufacturer received three points.

However in 2014, NASCAR introduced a new system of mirroring the points structure of the Owner's championships. The current system includes the highest-finishing driver for each manufacturer earning the same points the representing team earned during the race, including bonus points.

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series is the 77th NASCAR season and the 54th season for the modern-era Cup Series. According to NASCAR's official website, the 2025 season started with the Daytona 500 race held at the Daytona International Speedway on February 16, 2025. Toyota leads the manufacturer standings with 329 points and five wins, followed closely by Chevrolet with 327 points and three wins. Ford holds third place with 291 points and one win, as of April 14, 2025.
