Despite not being initially slated to compete, Charles Johnson eagerly accepted the challenge of a late-notice fight and agreed to step in to face Osbourne.

Ode Osbourne, also known as 'The Jamaican Sensation,' has not competed in the octagon since his defeat against Tyson Nam at UFC Fight Night: Vera vs Cruz in August last year. In that fight, Osbourne suffered a TKO in the first round, bringing his two-fight winning streak to an end.
