The number of things one can purchase in GTA Online has grown over the years, thanks to Rockstar Games continually adding fresh content via free DLCs. This includes vehicles, weapons, clothing, properties, and more. While there are many great things to claim in multiplayer, there are also those that players should avoid, even if they are on a discount.

1) RUNE Zhaba

The RUNE Zhaba is a unique off-road class vehicle that has a rather peculiar design and shape. Keeping aside the blocky look, this is a vehicle with terrible handling and minimal traction, making it difficult for players to maneuver. This is especially the case in rough weather conditions like rain and snow, where the car seems to have a mind of its own.

Despite its intimidating look, the Zhaba has a terrible top speed that makes it nothing more than a glorified Rhino minus the offensive capabilities. While it is an amphibious vehicle that allows players to drive over water, the lack of proper armor or countermeasures makes it open to attack easily. This is why you should not purchase it in the sale despite the 30% haircut on the massive $2,400,000 price.

2) Western Rampant Rocket

The Western Rampant Rocket is yet another vehicle that you should not waste your money on this week. The three-wheeler bike might look cool with its hotrod design and massive wheels, but it is nothing more than a buffed-up tricycle. One of the first reasons is the staggeringly slow speeds in spite of the massive engine, which make it useless in high-speed chases or quick transit.

Additionally, players cannot perform wheelies or complex skills on this trike. The poor handling makes it twitchy at high speeds and extremely unstable on turns, with chances of flipping if not braking hard every time. Despite the 30% weekly discount on the rather steep price tag of $925,000, it is not worth purchasing when the cost-to-benefit ratio is weighed in.

3) Coil Raiden

The Coil Raiden is one of the few electric vehicles in GTA Online that is on sale this week. However, you should not buy it even if it was offered for a dollar. You would get better value out of a can of Sprunk. One of the first reasons is the boring and typical bad handling that is characteristic of all electric vehicles in the game. The car lacks a punch or decent speed on straights, making it a mid-tier vehicle.

Additionally, the lack of outstanding acceleration or handling makes it pale in comparison to cheaper alternatives like the Pariah or the Elegy Retro. The combination of bad understeer and massive oversteer makes it difficult for practical use, especially considering its price tag of $1,375,000. The terrible cornering and the lack of outstanding features make it one of the worst purchases this week.

4) Lampadati Viseris

The Lampadati Viseris is one of the fastest cars in the game, but all the speed in the world cannot make up for the host of fundamental flaws in the vehicle. Despite impressive speed on straights, handling is a Nightmare on Grove Street. The massive understeer and lack of grip make it really difficult to drive, especially in stunt races or head-to-head challenges.

Apart from this, the terrible cornering ability will make you drift, especially when you do not want to. This could be troublesome if you are using it for missions that have a timer, or you wish to reach somewhere without dropping off parts of your vehicle across the map. The ridiculous asking price of $875,000 and the sub-par handling rank it among the worst purchases to make in GTA Online this week.

5) Annis RE-7B

The lack of functionality makes it a worthless purchase in GTA Online this week (Image via Rockstar Games)

The Annis RE-7B is one of the most popular supercars in GTA Online, renowned for its exceptional speed and a notorious speed glitch that was present a few years ago. Despite being a powerhorse when it comes to racing, it has several drawbacks. Earlier, it used to be dominant in its class, but recent vehicles like the Emerus or the Itali RSX have left it behind, like Lightning McQueen in Cars 3.

However, its brilliant track performance is also one of its greatest flaws. The high grip and speed on straights are achievable only on track conditions, making it potentially useless in anything outside of races. With its dominance in races gone as well, it is not worth paying the seven-figure sum. The mid-tier performance makes it one of the worst vehicles to spend on in GTA Online this week.
