Anirban Lahiri fired a low 7-under 64 in the second round of LIV Golf Virginia 2025 to take the 36-hole lead. He now holds a two-stroke advantage over Bubba Watson, Graeme McDowell, and Martin Kaymer.

On Saturday, June 7, Lahiri entered the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville one stroke behind the lead. Starting from the first hole, he had an absolutely flawless day, picking up four birdies on the front nine and remaining bogey-free on the back nine as well. Overall, he added seven birdies on Day 2 to take the solo lead.

Bubba Watson also made a surge at LIV Golf Virginia after firing a 6-under 65 on Saturday. McDowell shot 67, while Kaymer lost the lead after carding a 68 in the second round.

Bryson DeChambeau, who shared the lead on Friday, slipped to T5 after carding a 69. He could have dropped further if not for a birdie on the final hole of the day. Phil Mickelson and Jon Rahm were the other two names tied alongside DeChambeau, four strokes back.
