What happened to Brooks Koepka? A look at the LIV golfer's slip from the lead in the final round of the Masters

Brooks Koepka arrived at Augusta with the goal of finally donning the green jacket. However, that dream will have to wait another year because he finished second in the tournament on Sunday. After Thursday's round, Koepka was tied for first with Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland. He then extended his lead after 36 holes and was still in the lead after 54 holes of the tournament.

However, the title was lost in the fourth round when his six bogeys forced him to settle for second place alongside fellow LIV golfer Phil Mickelson.

Brooks Koepka, who entered the Masters after winning the second LIV Golf event in Orlando, opened with a 65. He began the final round with a 13-point deficit, while Jon Rahm had a score of under 9.

Koepka made a bogey on the fourth hole and a double bogey on the sixth. He only made three birdies in the final round, finishing with a score of 76.

Brooks Koepka missed the cut at the 2022 Masters as well.
