How much did each golfer win at the 2024 RBC Heritage? Prize money payout explored

Scottie Scheffler won the 2024 RBC Heritage on Monday (April 22). The World No. 1 golfer has now gone back-to-back to win his fourth PGA Tour title in his past five starts, including the Masters last week. The 27-year-old beat Sahith Theegala at Harbour Town Golf Links, South Carolina, to continue his stellar run in the season.

Scheffler won the signature event and bagged the winner’s paycheck of $3,600,000 from the $20,000,000 prize purse. The ace golfer extended his 2024 season earnings to $18,000,000, of which a whopping $16,300,000 came in the last 42 days.

It is pertinent to note that the two-time Masters champion is currently on the path to breaking his own season-earnings record of $21 million from last year.

While Scheffler won the big winner’s paycheck, second-placed Theegala bagged $2,180,000. Wyndham Clark and Patrick Cantlay shared T3. The duo won $1,180,000 each. Justin Thomas shared T5 with Patrick Rodgers and the event’s early leader J.T. Poston. They won $711,250 each.

Collin Morikawa won $711,250 for finishing solo-ninth, while Chris Kirk and Ludvig Aberg got $525,000 for T10. RBC Heritage defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick finished T28 and won $137,000.

Notably, Rory McIlroy finished T33 on the RBC Heritage's final leaderboard. He returns home with $106,667. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Nick Dunlap finished last on the signature event’s 69-player field. He got $41,400 for his efforts.
