"Get back in your lane"- Phil Mickelson responds to online troll who claims to have 'bigger calfs' than him

On July 27, 2024, HyFlyers GC posted a video of Phil Mickelson from their X (formerly Twitter) handle to give a chance to golf enthusiasts to play with the Lefty and any HyFlyers GC member at the upcoming September LIV Golf Chicago. In the video, Phil Mickelson also explained the registration process and that the interested participant could take a fellow schmo.

For registration, the golf enthusiast had to join the LIV X and follow the HyFlyers fan page. Then, they would have to fill out the entry form and make a video with their "schmo" about why they'd be interested in playing against HyFlyers GC. This video was shared with the caption:

Later, this video was reshared by Mickelson from his X handle with a question:

“Any Schmos out there think they have what it takes?” Phil Mickelson wrote.

As this post by Mickelson came up on X, an X user named Nick Stanford remarked on calf muscles. He claimed that he had bigger calf muscles than Mickelson. He also mocked the usage of "schmo" in Mickelson's video.

“First of all , what’s a Schmo , 2. I’ll have a bet that I’ve got bigger calf muscles than you . 3 bring it on,” the X user wrote.

As a reply to this comparison, Phil Mickelson made another remark.

“Nico, get back in your lane,” Phil wrote.

Currently, Mickelson is playing at the LIV Golf United Kingdom, which boasts a purse of $25 million.
