9 Golfers to get last-minute Masters invite to Augusta by entering top 50 OWGR rankings ft. Tom Kim

The Masters tournament held at the Augusta National is one of the most watched golf events of the year. A Major championship, year after year, the tournament has fielded some of the best golfers on the planet, and the same will continue in the next edition of the event in 2025.

While the 2025 Masters is still a good time away, recently, nine golfers have put themselves in place to earn an invite to Augusta. These nine golfers, who are in line to receive an invitation to compete at the Masters next year, are a mix of big names and young talents. Here is a look at the nine names:

The reason why these nine golfers are in line to receive an invite to the 2025 Masters is that they have managed to make a place in the top 50 of the OWGR (Official World Golf Rankings). And it's worth noting that being in the top 50 of the OWGR is a qualifying category for the Masters.

While many big names in the top 50 have already received their invites through other criteria, other golfers who aren't exempt will now be in line, and as of now, it's these nine golfers. The 2025 Masters will be played between April 10th and April 13th.
