Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. Granit Xhaka scored Arsenal's first from outside of the box. The ball curled a bit, but David de Gea should have really saved that, considering the Spaniard quality. But he didn't, so Twitter trolled Manchester United's number one.The first half saw Arsenal start brightly and create a few chances. But, Manchester United hit the bar with Romelu Lukaku after he was found by Luke Shaw with a delightful ball. Arsenal scored first though with Xhaka's long-range effort. Then, Manchester United missed so many good opportunities. Fred hit the post again and Lukaku missed another one-on-one. Bernd Leno was immense on the day for Arsenal. The second half saw Manchester United start with brilliant intensity and create numerous opportunities, which they couldn't take. Lukaku missed another sitter, which was saved by Leno again. The Red Devils were clearly on top and were looking the most likely team to score. But, against the run of play, Lacazette won the penalty for Arsenal after Fred brought him down. Up stepped Aubameyang to seal the points for the Gunners.Manchester United then made some attacking switches, but Arsenal were able to hold on to their lead and give us another twist into the race for the top 4.This is Solskjaer's first loss in the Premier League since taking charge of the Red Devils in December. Arsenal now find themselves in the top 4 and United dropped to the fifth position. This can be easily termed as a bad day at the office for the Red Devils as they clearly looked the better side over the course of the 90 minutes. That first goal though should have saved by de Gea and here's how Twitter reacted to his mistake:Each of the last three Premier League goals David de Gea has conceded have come from shots outside of the box.Beaten from distance again. 😬 pic.twitter.com/Pd9Jg7p5pK— Squawka Football (@Squawka) March 10, 2019'David de Gea had his ankles snapped by the wind.' 😅🌪️https://t.co/USdjh19ojb— SPORTbible (@sportbible) March 10, 2019David De Gea has conceded 6⃣ goals from outside the box in @premierleague this season - only conceded more than that once in his 8 seasons at @ManUtd (conceded 9 from outside box in 2013-14)#ARSMUN pic.twitter.com/I8OBWOJ0Rp— Sky Sports Statto (@SkySportsStatto) March 10, 2019Inject David de Gea baffled at the swerve reaction GIFs straight into my veins forever.— The Short Fuse (@TheShortFuse) March 10, 2019So Solskjaer’s remarkable run comes to an end.
