Odemwingie (right) hasn?t started a game for West Brom since his deadline day fiasco. In a sensational swipe on Twitter, Peter Odemwingie has claimed that his current club, West Bromwich Albion are threatening to ruin his footballing career. This latest rift comes just as everyone had begun to think that he was re-settling in at the Hawthorns, after trying to force a January move to QPR. Apparently, the Nigerian is unhappy at being used as a substitute and wants more match time after only making short appearances this season for West Brom. He used Twitter to vent his frustration at his club by saying; Keeping me on the bench now is worst than what they did on the 31st. New advisers told me to take say its all my fault cos its better or me — Peter Odemwingie (@OdemwingieP) March 17, 2013 If they like they shouldn?t even give me 10 mins to play. Threatening to ruin my career? Career I closed already last summer? No harm to me — Peter Odemwingie (@OdemwingieP) March 17, 2013 Want to treat me like an average player. The abuse and praise I get is it average ? So get some extra from me too — Peter Odemwingie (@OdemwingieP) March 17, 2013 Odemwingie sparked a deadline day fiasco this January by driving down to Loftus Road hoping that QPR would sign him up, a move which did not materialize. Odemwingie went on to defend his actions then by saying that West Brom had given him the go-ahead to travel to QPR, a statement denied by the club. He was subsequently fined £75,000 and has made just four appearances since January 31st, all as a sub. How well this latest rant on social media will go down with his manager and club remains to be seen.
