"One of the best partnerships in the league" - Arsenal fans hail attacking duo for magnificent display against Watford

Arsenal fans have heaped praise on Gunners duo Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka on social media. This came after their incredible first-half performance in the Premier League game against Watford on Saturday (5 March).

Mikel Arteta's men are currently in action at Vicarage Road for their 25th gameweek. They are hopeful of moving up to fourth place in the points table with a victory over the Hornets.

Arsenal currently enjoy a two-goal lead over Watford, with the scoreline reading 3-1 at the moment. Odegaard, Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have found the back of the net for the Gunners, while Hornets forward Cucho Hernandez scored with a stunning overhead kick.

Gunners fans have been particularly impressed with Odegaard and Saka's performances in the first half of the game. A wonderful piece of interplay between the two resulted in Odegaard scoring his fifth league goal of the season. Saka then turned scorer from provider as he lashed home from inside the box to score his eighth of the season.

Saka has also provided five assists in the 25 Premier League appearances that he has made this season. Odegaard, on the other hand, has made three assists in 22 league matches.

An Arsenal win could propel them into top four

The London outfit will now be looking to secure a win at Vicarage Road. A victory in the game could take Arsenal up to fourth in the league table should Manchester United lose to Manchester City. They will have the luxury of having three games in hand and being one point ahead of the Red Devils if they manage to secure three points against the Hornets.

The Gunners will then be five points behind Chelsea with a game in hand whom they are yet to play. As things stand, the north London outfit seem favorites to finish in the elusive Champions League places.

Arsenal are scheduled to face Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League next Sunday (13 March). They also have a league game against Liverpool coming up. Victories in these games will virtually guarantee a top four spot.
