The UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw threw up some tasty fixtures. While there are some entertaining games to watch out for, we'll be focusing on Liverpool. After a few patchy results, Liverpool ensured top spot in the final group game against Spartak Moscow, and in some style as they put seven past them. There were quite a few top sides who could have been drawn with Liverpool, but they managed to draw Portuguese side FC Porto. Now, we know you're a bit excited considering it's only Porto, a side who have never beaten Liverpool. But then again, it's Liverpool, you can never be too sure. Porto finished second in group G, with three wins, a draw and two losses. They had a few flaws, and Liverpool will be pretty confident considering the Portuguese side lost at home and away. They also conceded goals in all but one game, so Jurgen Klopp's side will be fairly confident of away goals as well. The first leg is scheduled to take place at Estadio do Dragao on the 13th of February, so Liverpool will have the home advantage for the return leg on the 6th of March. Twitter was in a frenzied state after the draw and here are some of the hilarious tweets,The round of 16 #UCLdraw has been made ?Backing your team to progress? pic.twitter.com/v7I6dSq7Tc— ? #UCLdraw ? That should end about 9-8 over the two legs. Not sure who to though.— Tom Kundert (@PortuGoal1) December 11, 2017 And Lovren, always remember. You're never too safe...Round of 16 Porto. That’ll do nicely. Keep the ball away from #Lovren #UCLDRAW— Stephen O'Brien (@anfieldbhoy) December 11, 2017@XabiAlonso is quite good with his hands as well. Some cracking ties. Glad we avoided the big guns but Lovren will make Porto look world class anyway.— Ashna Jhooreea (@AshnaJhooreea) December 11, 2017
