He moved to Bayern Munich at a very young age in 1999 due to the fallout with the Paraguayan club Olimpia Asuncion.

Santa Cruz was a highly rated teenager, and he showed his ability very quickly at Bayern. He quickly settled into a new country and the league well, which resulted in him debuting for Bayern pretty early after his transfer.

Over his stay, Santa Cruz won several Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal titles along with the coveted Champions League.

Musiala spent most of his youth career at Chelsea, but competition for places and lack of a proper roadmap made Musiala change clubs. Chelsea's loss has now turned out to be Bayern Munich's gain. After a few matches for the reserve side, Musiala was fast-tracked to the senior side.

On September 18, 2020, Bayern Munich ran a riot against Schalke as the Bavarian club demolished their opponents 8-0. Musiala scored the eighth goal of the evening.

In doing so, he became the youngest scorer for Bayern Munich in a major tournament. Musiala is also the youngest footballer to appear for the club in the Bundesliga.
