Carlos Sainz Vazquez de Castro is a Spanish Formula One driver, driving the No. 55 for Williams F1 Team. Sainz began his career by karting and moving through the various levels of racing before entering Formula One in 2015 with Scuderia Toro Rosso. In his Formula One career, Sainz has driven for the Renault F1 Team, the McLaren F1 Team, Scuderia Ferrari, and is currently driving for Williams. His professional achievements include his first podium finish at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix with McLaren and a maiden win at the British Grand Prix in 2022, where he became the first Spanish driver to win for Ferrari since Fernando Alonso. As of May 2025, Sainz has competed in 212 races, recording four victories and 27 podiums.

Sainz made his debut in Formula One in 2015 at the Australian Grand Prix, where he qualified in the top 10 and finished in ninth position. In his debut season, he raced for Scuderia Toro Rosso, partnering Max Verstappen. Before competing in Formula One, Sainz won two championship titles, including the 2011 Formula Renault NEC and the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5.

From an early age, he mentored Sainz Jr. throughout his journey from Karting to Formula One.

Reyes is married to the rally driver, Carlos Sainz Sr., with whom she has three children: Carlos Jr., Blanca, and Ana. Reyes actively raised her children by supporting and encouraging them enough in everything they wanted. Even though she is not into racing, she remains active throughout the series for the races and accompanies Sainz Jr. to the pits while shouting slogans for her child in most of the events where her son participated in Formula One racing.
