Joshua Simon is an American football player who signed as an undrafted free agent for the Atlanta Falcons in the 2025 NFL Draft. He played as a tight end for the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Southeastern Conference. Hailing from Dalzell, South Carolina, Simon attended Crestwood High School and was rated as the 44th-best prospect in the state, according to the official website of the Gamecocks. Joshua Simon joined the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (WKU) in 2019 and played 13 games, making 30 receptions for 430 yards and four touchdowns in his first season with the team.
During his sophomore year, Simon played 12 games and scored 33 receptions for 370 yards and three touchdowns. He earned the Conference USA Honorable Mention and Phil Steele All-CUSA Third Team selection the same year. Simon caught three passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns in the only game he played in 2021 as he picked up a season-ending injury. He finished the 2022 season with 20 catches for 273 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.
