The Duke's Mayo Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played among teams from the ACC and SEC or Big Ten. It was established by Raycom Sports, now a part of Gray Television, this college football bowl game was officially certified by the NCAA. Over the years, it underwent various name changes from the Continental Tire Bowl to the Meineke Car Care Bowl and eventually the Belk Bowl until it adopted its current name.

Since its inauguration, the Duke's Mayo Bowl has been a yearly spectacle held at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. This event brings together teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and either the Southeastern Conference (SEC) or the Big Ten Conference. The game's conference tie-ins have evolved, previously including the AAC.

Duke's Mayo Bowl Sponsorship and Broadcasting Rights

Over the years, the Duke's Mayo Bowl has been supported by various sponsors. The bowl game evolved with changing sponsors from Continental Tire's backing between 2002 and 2004 to the Meineke Car Care Center's sponsorship spanning from 2005 to 2010.

In terms of media coverage, the Duke's Mayo Bowl was initially televised by ESPN2 from 2002 to 2005, the bowl shifted to ESPN in 2006 and has continued to be showcased on this network since. With ESPN Radio handling the radio broadcasts, the Duke's Mayo Bowl has consistently reached audiences far and wide.

Notably, numerous members of the ACC have featured in the Duke's Mayo Bowl, with ten out of the 14 ACC teams making appearances.
