As a freshman at Alabama, Caleb earned the starting safety spot, led the team in tackles, and became the only Crimson Tide freshman to do so since 1970.
Caleb received multiple honors during his time at Alabama, including the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year, Freshman All-American honors from the FWAA, First-team All-American recognition from Pro Football Focus, SEC Freshman of the Year, and First-team All-SEC from the conference coaches, and SEC Newcomer of the Year from the AP.
