UConn Huskies star Azzi Fudd shared a funny anecdote about her father on the latest episode of her podcast "Fudd Around and Find Out." Fudd said her father once kicked her out of a practice session after she asked to use the toilet. View this post on Instagram Instagram Post"I needed to go pee during practice," Fudd told co-host Ashanti Plummer. "He yelled at me, he kicked me out of practice. Kicked me out of the gym because I asked to go pee."Plummer mentioned that Fudd had no control over the impulse, but the UConn star joked that her father did not share that sentiment."No actually he said you can control it and you should only be asking to go to the bathroom if you need to poop because that's something you can't hold. But if you need to pee then you are not really trying. You're not working hard enough."Katie and Tim Fudd's impact on Azzi Fudd's careerCredits - @timfudd23 via InstagramAzzi Fudd comes from a sports family. Both her parents were athletes. Her mother, Katie, played at NC State and Georgetown, whereas her father, Tim, played at American University. Tim has been her coach since her early days in Virginia. He emphasized hard work and dedication, which have majorly shaped the UConn star's career. Azzi's parents have always been her biggest fans. Tim has often attended games to support his daughter."At the end of the day, when (Azzi) walks away from it and looks back on this experience she’ll remember us being there and enjoying that experience with her and being on that journey with her," Tim told CT Insider in 2023. "I think that’s something she’ll appreciate once she’s far removed from it, 15, 20 years from now."
