How to unlock PML 5.56 in Warzone and Black Ops 6

The PML 5.56 is a new light machine gun introduced in Black Ops 6 and Warzone with the Season 5 update. It can be unlocked for free by progressing through the Battle Pass. Unlike other weapons in its category, this weapon combines a high fire rate with strong damage output. However, this power comes at the cost of recoil and reduced mobility, making it most effective in medium-range battles.

How to get the new PML 5.56 in Warzone and Black Ops 6

The PML 5.56 LMG can be unlocked for free as part of the Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 5 Battle Pass. You do not need to purchase the Battle Pass since it is included in the free reward tier. The weapon is available on Page 3 as the High Value Target (HVT) reward, which means you must complete all tiers on that page to unlock it.

To progress, simply play matches in your preferred mode: Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. Your Battle Pass will advance as you play, and using Double XP Battle Pass tokens can speed up the process. Once Page 3 is complete, the PML 5.56 LMG will be unlocked. After that, play a few matches to level up the weapon and gain access to its attachments.

The weapon has a magazine size of 100, a max level of 39, and includes Mastery Badges. As a fully automatic LMG, it has a high rate of fire, heavy recoil, low mobility, and a long reload time. It is particularly effective in close to mid-range fights, and its huge magazine size enables you to kill multiple enemies in one go.

The firearm also supports various attachments, such as Optics, Muzzles, Barrels, and more, to further enhance its performance.

Note that you can also unlock exclusive skins for the firearm. Regular Battle Pass users can unlock the "Overclock" skin featuring blue tracers for the weapon after completing Page 11 of the Pass. Blackcell users can unlock the "Overclock BlackCell" skin, which features golden aura tracers for the PML 5.56.
