There have been plenty of scoring geniuses in NBA history. But only a select few have managed to be consistent in putting up big numbers time and again. By doing so, these players not only became excellent athletes but also etched their names as basketball legends who will be remembered for years, if not decades.

Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for the most points scored in a single NBA game. He scored 100 points for the Philadelphia Warriors against the New York Knicks in 1962. Chamberlain also holds the record for the most 70+ point games in the NBA, at six. Below is the list of players who have scored the most points in a single NBA game:
