Francisco Lindor's wife Katia reacts as Mets' mascots recreate Travis Kelce’s Taylor Swift proposal

While New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is involved in a high-octane series against the Philadelphia Phillies, his wife, Katia, reacted to a humorous post by the franchise.

The sports world was taken by surprise on Tuesday after pop sensation Taylor Swift announced her engagement to boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce in an Instagram post.

The post featured a picture of Kelce on one knee to propose to Swift in what seemed like a garden. Mets mascot, Mr. Met recreated the post by proposing to Mrs. Met, surrounded by greenery.

Katia Lindor reacted to the post by sharing the picture on her Instagram story.

"Mr. Met, that was Swift," Katia Lindor captioned her Instagram story.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce started dating in 2023 and the duo's relationship has been in the news since. Their engagement sparked reactions from around the globe, including US President Donald Trump.

While Francisco Lindor is away on baseball duties for the Mets, his wife, Katia takes care of their three children. In an Instagram post, Katia shared how she keeps herself energetic. She captioned her post:

"From the ballpark to the backseat of a road trip, our days rarely slow down. And with 3 under 5, I need snacks that can keep up. Enter: @perfectbar. It's become my go-to snack during games, for workouts, nursing breaks, and just about everything in between.

"It's made with ingredients I can actually recognize (and pronounce), packed with protein and over 20 superfoods- which also means don't mind when the girls sneak a few bites too. They also have mini ones for kids which they love!"

Katia Lindor has been a constant presence at Citi Field and is often seen with her children in Mets colors, supporting the All-Star shortstop.
