AEW Women's Title Eliminator Tournament Results: US finals winner revealed after an epic match

The US bracket finals of the AEW Women's Title Eliminator Tournament finally arrived, and the event was accompanied by two non-tournament matches featuring four other female AEW talent.

We went to the first match of the show.

#1. Leva Bates vs. Madi Wrenkowski (AEW Non-tournament match)

Madi flung one of Bates' books at her opponent, and the Librarian wasn't happy as she responded with a thrust kick.

Laves then sent Madi outside. The action moved back in, and Bates was on top with a few strikes and a suplex. She got a two-count with a Northern Lights suplex.

Madi gained control with a guillotine on Bates onto the ropes. She capitalized on it and scored a few pinfall attempts. Bates reacted with a few chops and kicks to the mid-section and the head. She followed it with a kick in the corner and a bulldog for a two-count.

Bates got a two-fall with a small package. Back on their feet, Madi drove Bates face-first into the canvas with a facebuster.

Madi ripped off a few pages from Young Bucks' book. The referee prevented an infuriated Bates from using the book as a weapon. The ref turned his back, and it was Madi who used another book to deck Bates in the face.

Madi covered Bates and got her first win in AEW.

#2. "Legit" Leyla Hirsch vs. Miranda Alize (AEW Non-Tournament match)

Alize offered a handshake, but Leyla was more interested in locking up. Both women tried to outwrestle each other, and it was Hirsch who took control with a side headlock followed by a shoulder block.

They exchanged arm drags. Hirsch rolled out of the ring, and Alize was on top with a knee to the face. She delivered a running elbow strike in the corner. Miranda kept up the pressure with shoulders to Leyla's mid-section.

Hirsch turned the match in her favor with a dropkick, and she connected with a few forearm strikes in the corner. Leyla would also deliver a straight knee, followed by a brainbuster for a near fall.

Alize fought out of the fireman's carry and pulled off a ripcord knee strike. Alize also executed an impressive corkscrew elbow drop for a near fall, and it looked pretty neat!

Alize seemed to attempt a cutter, but Leyla reversed it into a cross-arm breaker. Miranda was left with no option but to tap out in the AEW match.

Thunder Rosa vs. Nyla Rose (AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament Finals - United States Bracket)

Nyla easily won the first collar and elbow tie-up tussle in the high-stakes AEW match. The crowd watching the match was fired up as they chanted for Thunder Rosa, who got Nyla's back with the hammerlock. Rosa's round kicks to the leg did their job of giving Nyla some early discomfort.

Rosa continued to use her kickboxing background to significant effect. The former NWA Women's Champion had Nyla trapped in a modified kneebar. Nyla fought her way out of it. Nyla then countered a drop-toehold attempt with a diving elbow but missed.

Rosa, who followed a perfect gameplan, resumed the punishment on Nyla's knees.

Nyla was forced out of a Boston crab by reaching for the bottom rope. Rosa rushed in for a follow-up attack, but Nyla dumped her out of the ring. Nyla took control on the outside as she ragdolled Rosa and rammed her against the barricade and the apron.

Back in the ring, Nyla sent Rosa's head onto the top turnbuckle. Nyla scored a two-count pin with a deep running splash to the back. Nyla continued to work on wearing down Rosa by focussing on her spine.

Rosa tried to fire off a few strikes while being on her knees, but Nyla was calling the shots in the match.

The momentum, though, shifted as Nyla crashed into the steel ring post while attempting a spear. Rosa dug deep and sent Nyla outside. Rosa delivered a running crossbody from the apron. The referee checked on Nyla, who may have been rattled by the impact.

The ref began the ten-count, and Nyla finally got up on her feet. She may have played possum there as she baited Rosa and stunned her with a right. Rosa delivered a side suplex followed by a series of vicious backbreakers. Nyla caught Rosa and dropped her with a Uranage Slam.

Nyla now began to go up to the top, but Rosa swept her legs. Nyla suffered a rough landing as her head hit the turnbuckle on the way down. Referee Paul Turner began the ten-count, and neither woman was ready to back down.

Rosa dropped Nyla with a big clothesline in the corner, followed by a double-knee strike. A massive dropkick was up next for Rosa, who went to the top. A huge missile dropkick gave Rosa a near fall. Rosa failed to execute the suplex as her back was injured, which was the outcome of Nyla's targeted attacks.

Rosa was now caught on the top rope, and Nyla executed the diving knee drop. Rosa, however, managed to kick out of the subsequent pinfall. Nyla tried to go for the Beast Bomb, but her knees gave up. Rosa executed the Death Valley Driver out of nowhere, covered, 1, 2,kickout!

Back on the feet, a back-and-forth exchange ensued. Rosa hit a stunner, followed by a backdrop suplex. She got another near fall as Nyla was just not willing to give up in the AEW match.

Rosa was looking for the final blow as she went up to the top for yet another time. Rosa leaped off the top, but Nyla countered by hitting the Beast Bomb in mid-air. Incredible! Nyla Rose pinned Thunder Rosa and won the AEW tournament match.

Result: Nyla Rose def. Thunder Rosa to win the US bracket of the AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament

Nyla Rose will face Ryo Mizunami in the grand finals (the US vs. Japan) on next week's AEW Dynamite. The winner of the AEW tournament finals will then take on Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's World Championship at the AEW Revolution PPV on March 7th.
