AEW Dynamite Results: Mike Tyson returns, TNT title on the line, Huge heel turn

We got another stacked edition of AEW Dynamite this week, headlined by a trios match pitting Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers against The Young Bucks and Jon Moxley.

Fans also saw The Inner Circle return to AEW this week along with a return to Dynamite for boxing legend Mike Tyson. Read on for full AEW Dynamite results.

Hangman Page vs Max Caster on AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite started off with Hangman Page facing Max Caster in singles action. A great start from Hangman Page as he took down Anthony Bowens before turning his attention to Caster. Page hit Bowens with a Fallaway Slam followed by a suplex, getting a one-count of it. Page followed it up with a big boot.

Caster retreated out to ringside to regroup. Page followed him to ringside only for Caster to quickly get back in. As Page re-entered the ring, Max Caster caught him with a low dropkick. In return, Page dumped Caster out of the ring. Bowens came in with another timely distraction at this point, giving Caster the opening to sent Page face-first into the poster. Caster then decided to distract the referee, giving Bowens to do some more damage out at ringside.

Bowens rolled Page back in the ring and he seemed to be favoring his shoulder. Caster worked over the injured shoulder for a bit until Page made his comeback, hitting a clothesline followed by an exploder suplex. He followed it up by a sideslam on the apron. Another distraction from Bowens gave Caster the chance to come back with a suplex. Caster then went for a springboard off the ropes only to be taken out with a clothesline. Bowens tried to slide his chain into the ring and succeeded. Caster took a shot with it but couldn't pin Page.

Adam Page booted Bowens away before finally hitting the Buckshot Lariat for the win.

Best Friends send a message to Death Triangle on AEW Dynamite

Death Triangle were in the ring with Tony Schiavone. Schiavone reminded us that Death Triangle will have a tag team title match next week.

Best Friends and Orange Cassidy came out at this point, accompanied by Kris Statlander. PAC said he felt this was Best Friends angling for a shot at the next tag team champions. Trent replied that they just wanted to let Death Triangle know that the boys were back in town.

The Inner Circle return on AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho said that the beatdown The Inner Circle received at the hands of The Pinnacle a few weeks ago on AEW Dynamite. Jericho said that they had learned a lot from that beatdown before adding why MJF was briefly in the Inner Circle. Jericho added that MJF had been a step ahead of him before praising MJF for being at the top of the pro wrestling world at such a young age. Jericho added that he was using the scarf gimmick five years ago, which MJF was still doing.

Jericho then insinuated that MJF was a mark, calling him a 'Max' for himself. He then ran down the men MJF had now associated himself with. Jericho called Tully Blanchard a third-string member of The Four Horsemen. He then called FTR the Jonas Brothers of AEW because despite them being good, Jericho said that he could not tell them apart. Jericho also derided the fact that MJF and associated himself with Shawn Spears.

Chris Jericho then challenged The Pinnacle to a Blood and Guts match on May 5th.

Christian Cage offered a spot in Team Taz in AEW

Christian Cage said he felt that his win last week was the culmination of a year of hard work. He added that Frankie Kazarian had given a great account of himself last week but it wasn't enough.

Taz interrupted the interview at this point and offered Christian a position in Team Taz. He told Christian to take time to think about it.

Jurassic Express vs Bear Country on AEW Dynamite

Jurassic Express took control of the match early, dumping Bear Country out of the ring. Jungle Boy then launched himself at them over the top rope but was caught in midair. Jungle Boy broke free as Luchasaurus came over the top rope and took Bear Country out.

Bear Country were all over Jungle Boy as we cut to commercial. Luchasaurus tagged in after the break, taking the fight to Bear Country. We got an impressive move from Bear Boulder as he hit Luchasaurus with a superplex. Bear Country just couldn't get the pin on Luchasaurus. The finish saw Luchasaurus dump Bear Boulder out of the ring before hitting Bear Bronson with a chokeslam followed by the moonsault for the win.

QT Marshall's message to Cody Rhodes on AEW Dynamite

QT Marshall had a message for Cody Rhodes on AEW after what happened last week. QT said that he had surrounded himself by tough men and added that this was now his factory. The feud only started last week but has already heated up.

Sting gets interrupted by Lance Archer and Jake Roberts

Tony Schiavone was out to interview Sting again when they were interrupted by Jake Roberts. Lance Archer joined Roberts on stage and said that he was sick of the agenda in AEW. Archer said he was brought in to do a main event, then he disappeared, before he challenged for the world title, and then disappeared again. He said that the world would take notice of him as someone who deserved to be a top guy, including Sting, because it was not his time. Sting grabbed the mic from Lance Archer and surprisingly said that he was in full agreement - he felt that Archer was a main event player.

Sting instructed Jake Roberts to help Lance Archer fulfill his potential before leaving the ring.

Darby Allin vs JD Drake (for the AEW TNT Championship)

JD Drake clearly had the size advantage in the AEW match, taking Darby Allin down with a massive chop early on, forcing Darby to roll out of the ring and regroup. Allin lured Drake out to ringside before hitting him with a tope suicida. Allin headed for the top rope but was briefly distracted by Ryan Nemeth. Allin leaped off the top turnbuckle but ended up bouncing off JD Drake.

Sting chased Ryan Nemeth off at this stage but JD Drake was in control in the ring, hitting a bodyslam followed by an elbow drop. Drake followed it up with a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring. Drake came close to pinning Darby a couple of times but the champion's resilience was clear.

Drake went for a cannonball at ringside but was sidestepped and he crashed into the barricade. Allin headed to the top rope and took out both JD Drake and Cezar Bononi at ringside. Back in the ring, JD Drake had Allin in a tree of woe in the corner and hit the champ with a cannonball. Allin kicked out of the ensuing cover at the last second and replied with an Avalanche Code Red. Darby then headed to the top rope and hit his patented Coffin Drop for the win.

Mike Tyson returns to AEW to save Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was backstage on AEW Dynamite for an interview when he was jumped by MJF and The Pinnacle. They brought Jericho down to the ring and we saw Cash and Dash hit Jericho with the Spike Piledriver.

We then saw a table set up at ringside but Mike Tyson came out at this point, making his AEW return. Tyson got into the ring and bludgeoned Shawn Spears. The Pinnacle members dragged him out of the ring as the members of The Inner Circle came out.

Tay Conti vs The Bunny

Strong start from The Bunny, sending Tay Conti head-first into the top turnbuckle. The Hardy Family Office and The Dark Order were at ringside for the match.

Conti hit The Bunny with an Exploder Suplex followed by a nasty pump kick in the corner. Bunny came back into the match, sending Conti face-first into the apron, followed by a shotgun dropkick. Bunny went for the cover but could only get a two-count. She then locked in a modified Cobra Clutch. Conti managed to crawl over to the ropes.

Conti replied with the Tay-KO but it wasn't enough to put The Bunny away. Things broke down at ringside at this point as Bunny headed to the top rope with Kendo stick in hand. Shida grabbed the kendo stick as Conti hit a superplex. She followed it up with the DD-Tay for the win.

The Young Bucks and Jon Moxley vs Good Brothers and Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite

Kenny Omega and Nick Jackson started things off in the AEW main event and it was clear how well both men knew each other. Jackson hit a hurricanrana, forcing Omega out of the ring. The AEW World Champion tagged in Karl Anderson before Moxley and The Young Bucks cleared the ring. Fans then got to see a trio of dives out to ringside from the babyfaces before the show headed to commercial.

Moxley and Karl Anderson were the legal men at this point before Matt Jackson got tagged in. Jackson was quickly isolated in the corner as Gallows tagged in and took control. Omega tagged in and worked on Matt Jackson's arm.

Moxley finally tagged back in and started to batter Karl Anderson. Anderson took a few shots but Moxley didn't flinch and hit back with a slap across the face. Mox followed it up with German suplexes to both Omega and Gallows.

Nick Jackson tagged back in and went after both Good Brothers. He followed a double stomp to Gallows with a backstabber to Karl Anderson. Anderson replied with a Spinebuster in the middle of the ring as both men went down.

Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega tagged in. Omega immediately hesitated before charging at Matt Jackson who sidestepped him. Matt followed it with a DDT but couldn't bring himself to superkick his old friend. Omega replied by slapping Matt Jackson across the face repeatedly on AEW. Jackson did not take to this kindly and took Omega down and unloaded on his with rights and lefts.

Omega replied with a Dragon Suplex to Matt Jackson. He wanted to follow it up with a V-Trigger but Moxley stopped him in his tracks. Matt Jackson took advantage and hit Omega with a piledriver for a nearfall. The Young Bucks then hit Omega with the More Bang For Your Buck. Matt Jackson was still caught in two minds as he saw Omega down on the AEW mat. The Bucks set up for the BTE Trigger but couldn't go through with it. Moxley tagged himself in to finish the job. He hit Omega with two Paradigm Shifts before locking in a Rear Naked Choke. The Bucks suddenly turned on Jon Moxley at this point, superkicking him when he tried a third Paradigm Shift.

Eddie Kingston came out to try and make the save but the Good Brothers hit him with a Magic Killer on the ramp. They followed it with a Magic Killer to Moxley before Omega pinned the former champion.

The Young Bucks followed it up with a double superkick to Jon Moxley after the match, clearly joining ranks with Omega, Callis and the Good Brothers on AEW.
