From Team Taz's bad intentions against Darby Allin to a major plot development within The Inner Circle, this week's edition of AEW Dynamite featured many contrasting moments.

The recent episode of AEW Dynamite may not have been a perfect show from start-to-finish. Still, it ended on an exhilarating note and also included some important plot developments.

There are still a few shows left to air before the Revolution pay-per-view, and it will be interesting to see how the card for the event will shape up over the next few weeks.

#5 Hangman Page may have signed a bad deal with Matt Hardy while being intoxicated on AEW Dynamite

Hangman Page and Matt Hardy have teamed-up in recent memory. As expected, Hardy did have some ulterior motives for helping Page in AEW.

In a backstage segment, Hardy asked Page to join him in the bar for a few drinks. On their way out, Page ran into The Dark Order in an awkward moment.

Later, the veteran took advantage of Page, as the latter star was under the influence of alcohol. Hardy made him sign a contract that Page didn't object to at any point.

Matt Hardy's latest gimmick is that of a sleazy businessman, and there is no doubt that Hangman Page may have made a huge mistake by signing the deal.

The Dark Order's presence in Hangman's storyline could be the saving grace for the latter star in the future. As a whole, AEW has had a tough time effectively making the transition from 'Being The Elite' to Dynamite, as far as this storyline is concerned.

The Dark Order and Matt Hardy are entertaining aspects of BTE's weekly YouTube content. But viewers who only watch AEW Dynamite may not connect with the aforementioned storyline too well in comparison with the people who follow BTE and Dynamite every week.

#4 Lee Johnson earned his first-ever pro wrestling victory alongside Cody Rhodes on AEW Dynamite

Not many people know who Lee Johnson is, but the star earned a major milestone on this week's AEW Dynamite.

Lee Johnson is a part of Cody Rhodes' Nightmare Family, as he teamed up with Cody to take on the duo of Cezar Bononi and Peter Avalon on the recent episode of AEW Dynamite. While Cody was the ultimate favorite in this match, it was Johnson who surprisingly picked up the victory here for himself and Cody.

It was certainly an emotional win for the up-and-coming star, as it was his first-ever recorded victory not just in AEW but in all of pro wrestling. After the match was over, Tony Schiavone interviewed Lee Johnson. Johnson was at a loss for words, but he did thank the Rhodes family for his victory on AEW Dynamite.

Since then, Tony Khan has announced that Lee Johnson is now All Elite.

Lee Johnson's official AEW signing is a result of hard work, and it will be interesting to see what this star has to offer over the next few years.

#3 Darby Allin fought Joey Janela in a back-and-forth AEW TNT Championship match; Team Taz brutalized Darby after trapping him in a body bag

This week's AEW Dynamite kicked-off with a TNT Championship match between Joey Janela and Darby Allin.

The matches that kickstart AEW's weekly proceedings on Wednesday nights are usually good and fast-paced. Janela and Allin's bout was no exception, as the two put on a back-and-forth match which ended in a successful title defense for Allin.

Later in the night, Sting was interviewed by Tony Schiavone. However, The Icon was interrupted by Team Taz on the screen just before he was about to cut a promo.

Darby was trapped inside a body bag thanks to Team Taz's sinister actions. The antagonists had tied the body bag to a car as well, and they drove away with the AEW TNT Champion being dragged across the ground.

Sting headed backstage after witnessing what Team Taz had done to his future tag team partner. The fallout from the aforementioned segment wasn't revealed during this week's AEW Dynamite, and let's hope that the next episode will feature a noteworthy follow-up to what happened between Team Taz and Darby Allin.

After all, Marko Stunt was kidnapped by FTR on the previous show. But that angle ended underwhelmingly somewhere off-screen, as revealed during Jungle Boy and Tony Schiavone's recent backstage interview.

#2 Sammy Guevara said he was done with The Inner Circle in AEW

The tension within The Inner Circle had been building up for several weeks on AEW Dynamite, and it resulted in a major plot development this week.

Sammy Guevara confronted MJF in a backstage segment as the two talked about their real intentions in an empty room. A plot hole in this segment occurred when MJF was trying to record Guevara's statements on a phone, even though they were on live television.

The Spanish God attacked MJF and left the scene.

Before Chris Jericho and MJF's tag team match against The Acclaimed, MJF informed Jericho about what Guevara had done to him backstage. While the leader of The Inner Circle was able to pick up the victory for his team on AEW Dynamite, the conflict between MJF and Guevara was far from over.

The Spanish God arrived after the match to clear the air. Guevara revealed that he was done with The Inner Circle, all because of MJF's secret agenda against the faction that other members haven't noticed yet.

Sammy Guevara could be set for a major babyface push on AEW Dynamite, which is good news for the young star. Let's see what Chris Jericho will have to say about the future of The Inner Circle.

#1 Kenny Omega and KENTA faced Jon Moxley and Lance Archer in a chaotic Falls Count Anywhere No DQ main event on AEW Dynamite

If there was a must-see moment from this week's AEW Dynamite, it had to be Lance Archer and Jon Moxley's main event clash against KENTA and Kenny Omega.

The two teams battled around the ring all over to the backstage kitchen. Peter Avalon's Valentine's Day-themed bed was broken at one point, and even Jake Roberts got involved in the action towards the end of the match.

Lance Archer looked like an absolute beast throughout this bout, as it took several men and some outside interference to put him down. The Good Brothers got involved at the end, which is what shifted the tides in Omega and KENTA's favor.

While KENTA was busy beating up Jon Moxley, The Good Brothers helped Omega put down The Murder Hawk Monster with a One-Winged Angel. Omega and The Good Brothers stood tall at the end of this episode.
